Feedneck problems

i got a pre 05 impulse w/vision and wanna upgrade this beast with a newer feedneck, i tried to twist off the feedneck by hand, but seems like it wont twist maybe im twisting it the wrong way or are they press fitted? could someone please shed some light on this problem so i may get to play with my imp sometime soon. thanks

'05 impulse should just screw off normally (lefty-loosy). You probably have loctite in there.

If there is then torch it and then remove it with a wet rag. Loctite will burn off and give off smoke then you will know that the feed should come off pretty easily.

what about if theres epoxy holding it together? i heard ppl use that also will i still be able to torch it then?

Its most likely Loc-Tighted in, but if some retard out there used epoxy, your probably screwed.

if it is its ok haha i just checked it out and i cant tell if its epoxy or loctite as the guy i bought it off of (ebay) didn't specify any problems with the marker. its w/e i got it for $74.00 with vision so if its that bad ill just part it and buy another one.
