Sp1 board issues

I bought a couple used sp1's here on mcb, I got them yesterday and the board on one of them wont turn on. Im guessing its just fried, but is there anything I can do to fix or reset it in any way before just getting a new one? assuming it cant be fixed, does anybody have one for sale?

Gotta ask, how fresh is the battery? They will drain just sitting there. Could also be ripped/torn/pinched battery wires.

Check battery first and the pos/neg wires on the board. That's always best to try first.

I tried a couple batteries none of which were brand new, but one of them is less then a week old and barely used so I dont think its that. I didnt see any pinched wires but I wasnt really looking for them, Ill take it apart again tomorrow and check.

The on light could also be burnt out. That's what happened to me. Just turn it on about 3 secs and then pull the trigger. Listen for the noid beeping. That will give you an indication the light is burnt out. Cost about $15 for repair and reflash from GoG.

If you send it in,best thing to do is buy a new one and keep the old board as a back up after you get it repaired.
