You also have to understand too, which many of us may forget, is that many times on other sites it's a bunch of dumb @%s kids making the posts. They don't seem to have tack, or a solid frame of reference on how to make a deal.
My FEEDBACK 55/0/0
“She’s totally gross over 90% of her body. The other 10% is crazy nasty.” - Dr. Ice Cream
"Although where I come from, we call it Quartz, Parchment, Shears." - Pops

What discourages me from ever wanting to sell something on these other forums is the amount of potential buyers who never seem to read anything the seller actually posted. A seller says no trades or no brand X, yet inevitably someone offers a trade or a trade for brand X.
They just see the shiny and offer something quite inappropriate. It seems as if the seller must run a gauntlet of fools everytime he/she wants to move some gear/markers. Yet another reason I shouldn't stray from dealing on mcb, although customcockers is also a solid community.

Fluffy Bunnies for life!!
I think the anonymity that being online affords people the excuse to be rude and not respond in a civil manner regarding offers.
Yes I have offered lowballs only to have the response of: 'Thats way to low. ' Ok then lets say the gun brand new and bone stock is 300 and you have used it and have not put any upgrades into it and are trying to sell it to a complete stranger, it is it out of the relm of possiblity to offer the seller 200 when the seller is asking 250? I would say no, but then again if I get lowballed, I repsond with what I feel is a fair price. Thats the whole point of haggling.

Bottom line, it is worth what some one is willing to pay for it...and what you have is worth different amounts to different people.
I do think it is incredible when some one puts a marker up for sale for more than the new cost and the marker is still in production....especially CCM pumps. Not saying they are not worth it, but I can buy a new one in the exact colors and set up I want, how is your used one worth more?

By far the worst is, "PM me with the lowest you'll go."
For you, add 20% to the asking price.
