Breaks can figure out why?
I have been having troubles with breaks using a first Gen Azodin Kaos Pump. At first, I though it was the barrel so I bought a .690 12" Lapco Barrel. I still had breaks playing last Saturday once I loaded a pod of Delta Force but not with Marbs. After the first break everything went down hill and marbs broke as well. Could it be that I'm chopping while I pump? Would a TechT Hush Bolt help with this problem?

If your chopping when you pump a bolt won't help the issue.... it might be time for a new arm.
Is it chopping or blowing up in the barrel there is a world of difference.

Had a teammate with a gen1 and he had a lot of breaks also.
a Venturi style bolt cant hurt, to bad those hush are so expensive. I made a venturi for him using another bolt. also put a regulator and lp valve.
What I think is happening is the ball is being smashed by the air.
one problem with the KP is that they shortened the bolt, so the ball isnt pushed into the barrel it is shot into the barrel when fired.

where are the breaks? if there are in the breech, it could be chopping, but if its in the barrel, then its not a chop.
breech: bad detents(allows paint to roll), bolt chopping paint, sharp bolt tip
barrel: bad paint, barrel has blemish
breaking paint can be a plethora of things. somethings simple, some things complex like the bolt tip being too far back which get the second ball into the breech, causing pinches and breaks.

Isn't .690 kind of big? I'd imagine that you'd be getting a lot of roll-outs, which would mean the breaks are coming from a second ball colliding with the first on the next pump-n-shoot.
New bolt won't help unless there's something abnormal with the existing one.

edit - confirmed. I'd warn users away from underboring on these guns. what a bizarre design oversight. just measured, and the paint sits about .5 inch further back than on a sniper.

I underbore my KP and I've never had any problems.
