how to start a paintball field

Hey guys, so I've always thought about starting a paintball field as I'm sure many of you have too. Does anyone have experience in this or have tips on where to begin? There is a chance for funds in the future and now it has me thinking a bit more about it. Is it worth the thought? Obviously there is a lot to think about and discuss but we'll get to that later. Thanks!

I would imagine you would have to check

Zoning, City requirements (or county)
Insurance

There are companies already that sell pre-packaged kits for setting up (includes netting, bunkers, etc)

good luck to ya =) new fields are generally a good thing =)

Starting a Paintball Field - How to Start a Paintball Field

That's one of the best initial reads on the topic I've seen. It's specifically about an indoor field, but 90% of the lessons will apply to any kind of field.

Short story... if you think you're going to put in a little time and money and have the dolla bills rolling in... you are incorrect.

Start with Larry's book there, it's such a big question that it's hard to explain. The best way is to do a ton of research and ask specific questions.

Me as a player. If you want my money, have variety. Meaning not just speedball. Always separate your money players (Rec players) from those that come to seek cannon fodder.
