Problems with a micromag
Hey all, I have a silly automag question. I have always been an autococker fan and never had luck with mags and know very little about them. My Bro-in-Law recently asked me to tune up his FX micro that had been sitting for 5+ years. I went through the entire marker and cleaned/lubed/replaced orings. All seems well but when I start shooting it after so many shots the trigger pin will stay back and will not come back forward. Probably something easy but I figured I would ask before I go crazy trying to fix it.

Thanx for the help

Good be low pressure in the tank/low output pressure of the tank reg? (I am no mag expert, by any means).

pull the little pin out of the on/off and add a few drops of oil in the pin hole and around the seals.

Need to know more info, like what valve is in it (classic, X, or RT).
But first make sure you are using an 800+ psi output tank.

I will try some more oil in it. It is a classic valve and I tried a high pressure air tank and CO2 as well. Same prob with both.

better just give it to me

Sounds like bolt stick to me. If you push a barrel swab down the barrel will the bolt/trigger pin reset? If so it's bolt stick and could be a bad bolt, spring, or sear.

Big B, if it was mine I would happily send it your way for the price of shipping, I know its my own fault but I have never owned a Mag that worked. Millar, that sounds like a good guess. I will give that a shot.

Thank you
