Yeah, now that I think about it more the paintball-online description is probably the most accurate:

Quote:
The JT 12vt Revolution Classic Paintball Loader is one of the most trusted designs of all time!

The JT 12vt Revolution Paintball Loader is one of the longest and most proven designs in paintball history! The Revolution hopper has been known as the Viewloader Revolution, VL Revolution, or simply the 12 Volt Revvy over the years. This durable design features a reliable breakbeam eye system that 'sees' when paintballs start to move down the feedneck. This triggers the interior agitator to spin, keeping the paintballs in the hopper flowing to your marker and never jamming. The resilient shell survives the rigors of paintball in all conditions. The JT Revolution Hopper is simple to use with its easy on/ off toggle switch and is lightweight, making it ideal for all players looking for an economical and reliable paintball loader. It is especially popular with pump players!

JT 12vt Revolution Paintball Loader features:
- Feeds up to 15 balls per second
- Proven classic design
- Long battery life on two 9vt batteries
- Tough hopper shell
- Easy on/ off toggle switch
- Breakbeam eye activation
- Quiet agitator paddle
- Holds 200 paintballs
- Lightweight
I know mine has a 4 blade paddle, not 3 like the ANSGear description states. That would also only make the new ones the 12v board version.

that was a WAS TurboRev. i had one, briefly before it was stolen. it might have been faster than stock, but it still only fed 12bps. remember, unless its an actual forcefeed, it will still rely on gravity to get the ball to the gun.

also, on the original 9v Revys, the shells where the same, it just had a spacer taking up the spot for the 2nd battery. many people would buy up a 9v and throw in an Xboard or something more, as the price for a 9v was significantly less than a 12v.

as for the new ones, i don't know.

My favorite combination is pre-BE shells with a Reloader kit internals/paddle.

They must have changed the design then. I have some 9v Revys with space for a single battery oriented 90* to the usual way. The rear sail part is thinner.

Oh, and a standard Revy lid will NOT fit a Tripod. Too small.

For real giggles, try putting a Reloader board into a VL Force.

I've put an xboard with eyes in a VL Force. To me, it seems to spin a good bit quicker now. Probably the difference of 2 9v's as opposed to one running the Force motor.

I also modded all 3 or 4 of my revvys and reloaders as well as the xboard Force to use 9v battery snaps instead of those ridiculous spring clips. No more broken battery door slots for me!

Revvy 101

Sorry to bump this but

After doing some research. I found a couple of statements saying that the reloader motor is a bit faster than a revvy motor even though stated above. So I'm getting confused. I'm leaning towards its all the same

So if I put a reloader board in my 9v shell with motor than is more consistent feed rate? Or can I get it faster ? The stock 2 paddle will be modified or replaced either way

Also if I made the reloader board to just a single 9v I'm guessing that the downside is battery life is shorter? ( planning on using my recharable 9v)
