ram/rap68 parts

Just picked up a ram68 today (came in mail ,received in trade) and the thing is in great shape, it it wasnt for a little bit of wear on the blue pump grip one could think it was new by looking at it..

it needs two or three very minor things in my eyes..

1. proper screw in front pump grip.. #L605 in diagram $8.00
2. cocking handle spring .. #L603 in diagram $9.00
3. ball pusher spring #L113 in diagram $15.00

..

does anyone else have experience with this marker and would know of suitable replacements that wont cost nearly 45 if not more(once said and done with shipping )

I read somewhere the screw in L605 would work with a cocker lug screw?

any help would be appreciated .

I would take those parts down to your hardware store and try to find one that matches best. Chances are they will have what you need.

If you have an Ace hardware I'd try there. I find them to have the best selection of small screws and springs.

I bought one of these new, worst purchase I ever made.Won't bore you with the details of my customer service nightmare
I never could get it to crono over 220 or so,broke balls constantly, was a PITA to take apart, feed door busted off, cord holding the mag follower tangle in the spring
Be careful knocking out the body pins, the valve body is made of potmetal and will shatter,Nelson valve is not compatible with standard size,it's approx 1/8 diameter smaller
Sorry to be a guzzling, maybe you'll have better luck than I did
I still have the barrel, feedtube without spring, and pump handle.
If you want to pay postage you can have them

went to Ace today and found nothing that would work, went to sears hardwear and found one spring to use for the pump handle (had to be trimmed a little) and a suitable screw for the pump grip as well..

actually in a chat right now with a service rep at rap4 and theyre actually doing pretty well and being usefull...

if you want to get a usps quote that would be cool, although marker is in like new shape other then the few minor things its always good to have extra parts and the blue pump handle could stand to be swapped out..lol

zip is 18974..

Thank you everyone for the info.
I appreciate the help

Sure you can send pics over if you like, I appreciate it.thank you.

And No worries, I didnt take anything you said as negative, especially towards me.

the Rap68 seems to function as it should, just need to work out the few minor kinks from the previous owner..

got the screw taken care of, got the pump handle spring taken care of now i just need to find or order the ball pusher spring as the one in this marker seems to be a wee bit beaten up.

As far as the sp8, I actually ended up selling that around the beginning of the year when some things had to be taken care of.. hopefully the person who has it now loves it and uses it often.. I would have loved to keep it but if I had it would have sat more often then not since picking up magfed play..

Does anyone happen to have a picture of the push spring? the only one I can manage to find are b+w diagram versions that dont show the real thing.

Thanks again.
