New to tournaments, need a new marker.

Recently I've started playing tournaments. We've found that our team is not half bad. We've been moved from d6 to d2 over the past few months. Now my problem is that I find my 2009 proto rail just isn't getting the job done as well as all others. I'm looking to buy a different marker, but I only want to spend 400 dollars or so. I'd like something reliable and easy to maintain, but efficient also. Theres so many guns on the market all having good and bad reviews, Idk what to get. I have no problem buying used, so I was wondering if you guys had any insight.

Get a CCM S6/T2 with auto trigger...more fun playing with a pump against electro's anyways

well the response above is a joke. you can't fight your way into anything but a paper bag with a pump.

with that, you can not go wrong with an Axe. its right in your price range, the top teams will use them all the way down to the lowest levels. they can shoot even the brittlest of paints. look good, shoot great and its a real winner.

Thank you. I was leaning to an axe or mini, but have heard bad things about them like every other gun on the market.

We fielded a Pump Team against electro's for Nationals, did pretty darn good. No need to get sand in your vajayjay

But an Axe will do you well if your like shooting copious amounts of paint.

I'm just a rather larger guy, not to fast on feet, so making people tuck in is my best chance at advancing.

Personally I have always preferred an ego they are very efficient light fast and accurate I love them have never owned a bad one the 07 and 08 are right in that price range yes they are a little loud but your playing in a tournament so that's not a big deal

Save up some and get a G6R. My Valken is still the best shooter I own/have ever shot. (Luxes, egos, axes, dms, etc)

did good: show up and got some points, maybe won a game so the team wasn't on the bottom of the list, or
did good: and place in the top 3, top 5 or top 10?

i'm thinking its the former not the later. but that was my penis that typed that.

when playing serious, then its best to be on the same level of equipment, as you don't want to handicap yourself.

OP: what are the bad things that people have said about the Axe. granted, the size or ergonomics aren't for everyone, but pound for pound they are an incredible gun.

Placed 7th, but we were just playing for fun, and the Axe is a great gun. That's silly, A penis can't type that legibly!!
