Planet Eclipse Help

I am wanting to end up with a Planet Eclipse Marker in a couple of months, but the thing is my price range is around three hundred dollars. I was thinking like an ego 8, etha, etek 3 or 4 with a trade, or any other options. I am getting either an axe or a rail right now in a trade I hope is going to happen. I don't know which way I should go with the PE guns though. I don't mind the spoolies or pop its. I know an ego is like an upgraded etek basically but the older models of the ego fit my price range. I have shot an etha and it feels great for me. I just need a little information or help on clearing up my decision. Thanks.

Cart before the horse, Chief. An Etek is basically (not exactly, I know but i'm oversimplifying) a 2 year old Ego without the display on the board. Add the OLED board to an Etek 3 LT and you have yourself a brand-new Ego 10.
In my experience, and I'm not an expert (I just felt compelled to share), I found PE markers easy to maintain and use. I have my markers periodically serviced and maintained by PE-Certified techs and I have had zero problems with any PE markers I've owned or my friends have owned. Currently, my Ego 9 and my Etek 3 are in great order and work beautifully.
Good luck and be safe.

thanks kermitt. I will look into the etek 3 and egos 08 or possibly an 09. I like the way eteks and egos feel in your hand and I take care of my markers as well. Thanks for the advice.

Every ego I have owned or played with with exception of 1(very abused blown noid and both regs) have shot beautifully and have never let me down I have a 08 origins and a ego11 right now and wont let them go I have never shot the etha so I cant coment on them (I'm sure they're great) but my buddies geo hates me it works flawlessly for him but not me I did talk bad about it before playing bc I prefer stack tube popits over spools
