pistol play...for lord snooty

a group of guys do a regular pistol night, now 80% are using tipx etc there are a couple of tibs the rest have pgp's etc now i have owned a couple of tibs (and dont like them only because of short fingers makes me feel like i am holding a lump of 2X4) had loads of pgp's over the years, it might sound a bit asshatty but i am looking for something differnt, can anyone tell me what the PPs pugs and the pistol style strokers are like? what can i expect to pay for a 2nd hand one? what about the micro cockers that seemed to be all the rage a few years back?

thanks in advance

Have you considered a Sydarm or MiniMag?

Build one. Mine has a ULE body, cf frame, wood grips, 6" deadlywind null, classic valve, r/t pro rail, ion duckbill, and a rap4 t68 feed tube.

PPS Fan
I've held and shot most pistols out there. If you want something different and have smaller hands, have you considered a nelspot? They aren't very common have thinner grips and perform nicely with CCI parts. PPS Pugs are awesome and just like a long PGP. A squall or other Sheridan converted to a semi pistol (stroker) is like a long heavy PGP. For game play they are a blast but you will find yourself reloading and changing co2 all day. That gets a tad annoying.

Here is a vid from last year when I ran with one:

I have many more vids on my channel using stock class pistols including a PGP, nelspot, and a redux. This vid is a compilation of most of the games I played in last year and has more squall footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3tgY-KVMh0

I owned a Pug for about 5 years back when I was still living in the US in the New York area. I put a cheap red dot on it and it was crazy accurate. I found it much better than a PGP in just about every way. I had it setup with a spring loaded feed tube which definitely helped with getting a follow-up shot off a lot faster than rocking-and-cocking it.

I remember getting around 35 good shots per 12g with it.

I highly regret selling it

Another option is to get a phantom pistol with a short 6" barrel which would be way cheaper than a PUG overall.

If you got it with the M16 grip it would probably be a bit cheaper than the .45 grip examples linked above.

Retro 7 or P68 SC those are the two I run, barely touch my TPX. or set up a Micro phantom for pistol play with Hawaiian style CO2 quick change.
