Freak Boring and Freak Tip Threading questions

Hi guys, so I want to get some freak boring and freak tip threading done, but I have a couple important questions that:

1) Has anyone ever successfully freak bored an original Jacko Infinity barrel? (original Angel LED barrel, the red one in the below pic)

2) How much length of a barrel back is needed for freak boring? (The Carbon Fiber barrel with stainless back looks like it won't work, but what about the Yellow tip, boomstick-like barrel?)

3) What is the process for separating a tip from a base for a classic 2-piece barrel? (all american, boomstick, etc...)

4) Are there any special hints people have before I plunge money into these processes?

Many thanks>>

1 - no idea, should be ok to do though
2 - you need the length of the insert (~5")
3 - Most are threaded. If they're not, they're glued. Gently heat and pull apart. Not sure glued barrels have to taken apart to bore though.
4 - freak tip threading is a PITA and not many people want to do it (well not cheaply). Backs are ~1" OD so for tips it's best to have ~1" OD where the tip meets the back. You can go as small as ~7/8" but it has the look of going "in" to the back instead of matching up with it.
