I have the little yellow one as well as have never had an issue with it as long as I had a fresh battery in it. I use it to set my marker's velocity after changing various settings at home. It saves a lot of time at the field knowing I will just be able to shoot a couple and not have to change anything. I have never noticed a difference between the yellow one and the big table top red one a lot of fields have.

I have an X-Radar and like it very much.

Put me down on the side of the little yellow ones. I got one when they first came out, and I am still using it. Keep fresh batteries in the little bugger and it will serve you well. I have had it dropped, stepped on, thrown, shot, and yelled at but it still keeps going. I have noticed that it can be about +/-5 fps. When I ref I use it (hence getting yelled at by players) for spot checks. When I tech my guns at home, I usually use it and set my guns at about 5 below, then all I have to do is a little minor tweak at the field to be legal. I am almost never over the limit.

Not that I've heard of. How would you calibrate it? The ones we deal with have one button.
