Mark also confirmed that Bud told him guns stamped with an R stamp were rentals. Mark recalls ''Bud said the ''R'' guns were ''Rentals''.''

Here is one of mine with the R stamp that isn't reversible feed:

I think earlier the stamp was used for Reversible feed Snipers which has their own serial number line (R9 is not Sniper number 9). Some were engraved as rentals also which this R9 is:

That photo is from this link:
WGP Serial numbers part 1, R9 and 49507 - Old News Paintball History

And some weren't such as the R11 reversible feed pictured in the following article:
Autococker serial history R11 vs 250 vs 16401 - Old News Paintball History
The quote from Mark Bragg (of GForce Paintball), which Ceverhart references is in this article.

And then it was used on reversible feed rentals for Top Gun with serials around 2K (although these fall in line with standard WGP Autococker serials):
Top Gun Paintball Reversible Feed WGP Sniper 1 - Old News Paintball History

And then it was used on plain right feed rentals which the picture 9745 and 10658 bodies would be.

So from what I can gather, I think it started as a reversible feed stamp but was later used as a rental stamp.

It can be hard for topics like this because there is so much information on my site and I don't have a good setup for organizing manufacturer categories.
Plus I though I had that 10K R stamp Autococker body in an article and I didn't. Cool to see your photo. Thanks Ken,
-Dan
