Empire Resurrection BARREL review?

Anyone have experiences to share regarding this barrel kit? I like the bore sizes and the low price.

I had one with my Resurrection and would have kept it if I didn't prefer my freak kit a little more. My only gripe is the wide spread between back sizes. I would jump on a kit if you can get one for a good price. I have seen the kits go for $70 shipped.

It shoots well, a good kit and not too expensive.
Long control bores are efficient.

I use mine on any gun with cocker threading. I use it over my freak anyday. For me, It's been more consistent than my freak over a chrono.

I grabbed one for $50 new a couple days ago. Paintballgateway.com has them. That's a heck of a deal if you ask me.

70 now Empire Autococker 4 Piece 14" Barrel Kit - Black

Definitely nice and cheap though.

Thanks for the info guys.

Is the bore finished well or pretty generic?

I prefer control bore backs instead of freaks, I find that freaks get paint under the insert if you break a ball, and no matter how much you swab it, the paint continues to weep out.

That combined with the awesome sizes of the empire kit makes me drool over it, I loved it when I used my buddy's and now am in the market for a rezzi (partly for the kickass kit)

I know I am RESURRECTING this thread, but curious to know how people are liking this barrel. Have one coming with a Sniper and I am debating on keeping, or selling and getting a Stella kit. They both have the same sized backs and similar control bore lengths, so may be more money-wise to keep the Empire kit. I guess I will have to wait and test it out, but I have seen varying reviews on the Empire kit.

i like the stella over the empire.

empire is a nice starter kit but its missing the in between sizes you really need for a cocker style marker.

I like it just fine. I pretty much only use the .680 back, but it works quite well.
