Granted you're never really gonna surpass 30 shots, you can definitely just about reach that assuming you got a tight bolt that seals proper as well as a nice, tight barrel.

Are inline regs not an option? I've gotten over 35 with a rat 3:16 and an inline Sheridan. A reg and tornado valve have been my favs. That said, it's never really been worth the extra cash to wring out those last few shots. A pre 99, stock bolt/valve is hard to beat.

New problem. Valve set up from ccm diameter is slightly larger than the bottom tube of marker.

EDIT: Someone probably put pneumatics on it after it was made to make it a mech, and then you or whoever you bought them from sold them off of it.

Is it paint or anodizing that is on the body?
just like he said. it came out in late 1980's' or early 1990's. i know there was contest for one at one time. but that was around 1993 or so. since bud or was making snipers again at time want piece of open class and stockclass paintball. i recall that since rose from unique pro shop was talking about it. from so cal area.
