2k5 build

Trying to build my first semi auto. I've got an empty 2k5 body. I got some parts from a buddy for the front block. The 3 way and lpr cannot fit together. One or both is just too wide. Is this a common issue? No markings on either part but I was told the lpr is a palmer micro rock.

Are all the barbs installed? If so, remove them and reinstall the barbs after the parts are threaded onto the front block

2k5 front block. You will need a different LPR or front block. Personally I much prefer the bullet or tickler LPR.

So, does that mean 2k5 block spacing is tighter than the previous designs?

Yes, but it's also because the older PPS LPRs were larger diameter. Take a look at the old pre2k front blocks, and you'll see the difference in spacing.

So what is the better option. Different lpr or front block. It seems difficult to find a smaller lpr, but I would prefer not to have a big clunky pre2k front block. And I really don't want to drop 170 on an inceptions set of pnematics.
