Pain in the brass

I'm trying to resurrect a Pgp with the quick change broken off. Unfortunately it is flush with the bottom tube so there is nothing to grab with pliers and I couldn't find a straight flute extractor large enough at my local hardware store. Anyone happen to know the size necessary so I can order one?

Had it happen before. I used a large file wrapped in electrical tape and jammed it in there to grab ahold of the threads and turn it out. Maybe give that approach a try? Just need something that will fit in the tube and enough tape to let the threads grab it

Add a little heat too... Brass expands more than steel, so it should loosen things up. I am also partial to using a penetrating oil such as pb blaster to make it easier to extract.

Thanks fellas! A little heat and a tapered file worked like a charm
