Project: Arachnid - A Gothic Spyder build

I decided to make this it's own thread.

First and foremost, a warning. I've never built a paintball marker. I don't even tech my own guns. So, I'm going to be looking for MCB to walk and talk me through this... everything from parts list to assembly.

Next:
Im on a budget. In fact, it's $0.00 but, I'm going to spend money anyhow. It's paintball! This means the cheaper you guys sell me stuff, the faster I can finish this bad boy!

Finally,
Thanks and ****.

Are those your bodies? Like a count 6... Care to share?

Either way, I look forward to this progress!

Most likely you will need:
angel threaded feedneck,
cocker ball detent (possibly angel?)
Donor Spyder for internals, back plugs, field strip pin, hardware, and trigger frame
vertical ASA (likely cocker)
barrel
spikes - which can only be purchased from Super Stanchy basically... so good luck there.
bottomline ASA and plumbing
LPC or plug or compact vertical adapter... but it looks like it will need a cocker ASA and an LPC, not the compact vertical adapter
Anodizing

I have Spyder parts I would be happy to provide. Plenty of internals and bodies to scavenge parts off of. Not sure if it will be all you need but it would be a good place to start. Those are cool looking bodies, might even trade the goods for one if you're interested.

Let me see if I can do this without forgetting anything of note....

A spyder is a pretty short parts list to be completely honest. I will try to put them in order from best to worst, performance-wise.

Internals:

— Valves: AKA Tornado, Maddman Rocket, MagnaValve, Lab LP, stock

—Stryker: Fatty or Slim versions, and the only true upgrade here would be an Alamo City Delrin version of either one

—Bolt: AKA Tornado. Basically anything other than an ACS(Anti Chop system) or shock tech as they were most prone to tolerance issues and/or headaches

—Springs: Maddman springs are pretty comprehensive, or 32* had a decent set as well

—Front blocks: AKA Mitey Max or the Trinity 15* Assault Blocks are the better choices but pretty rare. Anything would work here as long as you like the aesthetics

—Trigger frames: User preference here, but Benchmark made a pretty solid mech frame, Mako had a good electro frame. There are plenty to choose from here

—Barrels: AKA Javelin and Dye made great spyder barrels, but most of this is user preference again

If I remember anything else I will add it here as well, or anyone else can chime in to correct me

My main question is if these bodies take the front block. Look inside the front of the lower tube. If it’s threaded you won’t need a front block, just a low pressure chamber or flat cap. If it’s not threaded than a front block will be needed like Ganon said.

It should take a slip in front block, unless there are different versions.

Fbm is a slim striker body, which makes finding hammers much easier,

Let me dig mine out soon. It's been so long that I cant remember everything any more.
