Bringing Mokal Mirage markers up to speed?

I have been having a problem bringing Mokal Mirage markers up to speed (200 fps). They are very old I think 1996 - only 22 years old. Not all but many have worn Hammer Springs.

I ever made some aluminum washers that I can put it the hammer, ahead of a spring to increase tension. Often this has caused issues with the gun re-cocking. The washers were turned down in a lathe to the same diameter as the spring and or about 1/8 to 1/4 in lengthwise.

Can anyone suggest a replacement spring that would work with these markers? Would anyone know a inexpensive spring maker? i tried Mokal - they no longer sell mirage parts. The springs are about 2.5” long and about ˝” diameter.

They are quite durable and decently accurate to make it worthwhile.

My local field runs mokal stuff almost exclusively. I'll hit them up and see what I can do.

Older mokal mirages?

I have one solution to face off the plunger that goes in the back of the knob for velocity.

Alternately I can face the back of the knob so the plunger will go in deeper.

Wanting a working Tommy ..... Marker.

I used a rapidly assembled M1A1 today and it was heavy, trigger problems and 200 fps.

Are you running HPA, or Co2?

I found and replaced the hammer spring with a longer one. I realize C02 would give a bigger boost - but my other mokal does 270/280 with HPA.
