Barrel Thread ID

I found this old Chrome Plated Brass Barrel in a parts bin and snagged it. I think it's an Angel Barrel, but I've never seen a brass Angel barrel, so I thought I'd pass it through here to get opinions. It's far left by the tape measure, with a Spyder (Black) in the middle and Cocker on the right for comparison. I have no Angel to check it out on. Thanks for any info!

It's probably a BOA barrel... they're great barrels, just really big bore compared to today's paint.

Figured it was BOA or J&J, just couldn't remember ever seeing an Angel one, and so was thinking it might be an older model (F1, Sterling...) that I'm even less familar with.

Found reference to a BOA barrel in the WDP picture thread.....so I guess they're out there....the pic was gone unfortunately. And, the OD is too small to turn down for an SL barrel

If it is BOA and Angel thread I'd be interested in it.

I currently have no one near with an Angel to test it. Weren't there different Angel threading patterns?

There were... but that barrel, if it is Angel thread, would be the "classic" Angel threading. The newer types have a shorter shank behind the threads and a different thread pitch as well.

It's possible it's some other strange metric threading as well... there were a lot of those back in the day, and BOA was willing to make a barrel for any kind of threading as long as it wasn't Smart Parts.

I do not think that is a BOA barrel. The porting doesn't match any of the BOA models ie Express, Snakebite, Concealor, etc.

I was thinking it was a little "loose" compared to other BOA porting as well. The biggest thing that gets me with this barrel is that I can't remember ever seeing a barrel where the threading OD is greater than anyting else on the barrel.

I'm thinking F1/Raptor threads myself. On the F1 the upper and lower tubes are surprisingly close together and a barrel would have to be that skinny to not hit the lower tube plug.
