I took my gear s3 wiyh me last time i played. I just kept it on the inside of my wrist covered by my sleeve, and it seemed to handle the day well.

I once played with my Fitbit Charge 2 inside a velcro pocket on some Dye paintball pants. Somehow I lost it. i think it may have fallen out while crawling through bush.

He was actually a pretty decent player, other than the fact that half of his kills were from his own team!

I play with my Charge 2 with it turned around facing my inner wrist with no issues.

I think a terry cloth wrist band cover and worn inside the wrist would work well. Do they still make those wrist bands? I would take a couple in case one got soaked or hit.

My newer M-pact gloves don't cover the wrist, but my old leather driver gloves have a nice flap that saved my G-shock watch from several hits. That's been a tough watch (MTG-M900?).

I wear my Gear Fit 2 every time I go out. Haven't had a problem, but haven't taken a hit. I typically have a jersey cuff or a glove cuff around it so I feel like it will be somewhat protected even if I did get hit right on my wrist.

If you are worried about hits on it you could always but a wrist band over it. When I wore mine to the gym I would do that when using kettlebells.

Played two seasons with my Alta on my wrist, under my jersey and forearm pads. Definitely dove on it a few times, not sure if I took any hits to it. No issues.

Edit: Come to think of it, I was wearing it in my Avatar photo here as well (not that you can see it).
