I worked as a cleanroom welder for hp application (up to 10kpsi) and we use .035" wall 1/4" tube up to 5kpsi and .065 after that.
Brass 1/4" (and 1/8") are usually good up to 1200psi. If you use quick disconnect tube at high pressure, the collar might blow ... No biggie on air tank ... Co2 might freeze burn you if you get hit.

Use braided or even better: compression fitting

I believe I found a line that I want to use. Anyone familiar with paragon performance? They do a line rated to 3000 psi that is coated. Looks sharp. Threads say 1/8npt by 1/8 mnpt. Are these standard threading that Id see for steel lines? Where do you guys get 90degree elbows & quick dosconnects? Do any of you know the standard threading of the Retro valve or for a standard asa? Thanks!

I've been using CCM fittings and the macro I got from Luke's customs. Although I've never used a shp tank with those setups.
On a side not let me know if you are looking for a shp tank. I bought one that I don't actually plan on using

I'd get a steel hose for it mostly because the fittings.

Its worth the trouble of finding a size that works. You'll be happier.
