This is beginning to sound like a "you" problem.

I've ever had problems taking them apart

Chill.

You can stick a Allen wrench in a hole and pry it out. It's a flat piece held in by friction alone.

Also you can just pull on the pin itself IIRC

I tried that and bent the Allen key.
I’ll give it another whirl. Pin wasnt about that life, that’s how i began this endeavor.

I’ll figure it out. I have the directions now.

Thanks everyone for the construction input!

If you have a plug on one side make sure it is not blocking anything from coming out

O, and when you put it back together, make sure the flat side of the pin is the one that faces your tank

I made that mistake before

If you need any individual parts contact cp directly. They are super helpful, even sent me a few parts under warranty that they had no reason to. I clearly told them I was there second owner and there is no way the regulator I had was still in any time frame for warranty but they sent me what I needed anyway.

I've never been able to get their new style ASA apart, it's one of the main reasons I purged all of my CP stuff.

Please post if you end up finding something that works.

Any CP ASA with this style brass piece holding everything together is a massive pain in the *** to take apart.

Yeah the ones with the slot milled into the brass plug is much easier to work with.
