empire sniper decent?

Long time sc phantom player, but I am starting to want to hang back a bit and sling more volume in place of running around so much. Had my heart set on inception designs but curious if a empire might be plenty for me. Some stupid good deals on new ones to be had it seems. Long term users chime in? Will I regret not paying 4 or 5 times as much for something better? Lol

I had one and really, really liked it. I don't think youll have any complaints. They are kind of plain though, that's my biggest criticism.

Only criticism, get an aluminum or a couple spare plastic sleds if you can. They have a tendency to crack fairly easily, other peoples mileage may vary, but that's mine.
Other than that, good deal if you can get it for a good deal lol

Don’t worry, Simon played a big part in the newer sniper pump and ressi cockers. Not inception quality but a lot of their engineering is in it.
It’s all preference, I prefer wgp cocker bodied pumps

I'm not a long term user but I picked up one of the olive ones during a sale last summer and I think it's a no brainer. At that price with A/T, a barrel kit, and spring feed. My only complaint is the pump handle is small and cheap feeling/looking. Used it for most of DON 13 I liked it so much. They have been discontinued so they won't be available for ever either. My WGP has a better pump stroke but I never notice that stuff in the heat of battle. I would definitely recommend it over a azodin.

thanks for all the input, I ended up snagging a T2. I'm sure the Empire would have been ok but now I won't have to wonder. lol
