Exactly this. The buyer could have said it "blew up". This wouldn't necessarily mean it actually exploded. This is why photos are required to ascertain the damage.

He said capacitor blew......i offered to mail him one as I have extras to replace those when I come across bad ones, which is common on those Spgder boards. Nit sure if actual fire or just smoke too. Who knows, he wasnt demanding anything, so thats good.

In case anyone needs a capacitor for their Spyders. I use these and have had great success. They’re affordable, a little heavier, wider, and shorter than the stock Jackcon caps.

No. I tested it and it was working. I only replace them when they dont work. Typically when they don't work they will shoot once and then a delay for next shot because the cap wont hold its charge.

Not sure if I would trust that guy to replace the capacitor and not blow the board up yet again.

It's a used marker and the buyers responsibility at this point
