Looking for some help with Nelson style bits
I am going to make a page, for nelson lovers to reference, and can use some help.
Just looking to show what's compatible with what so if you have XXX marker, you know what parts from other markers will work
Gripframes, powertubes, valves, valve nuts, bolts, hammers, sears, etc.
If you know of anything thats compatible with others, can you just post it up please?
Got an Outlaw game in the LA or San Francisco area? Please PM me!

I know that the Lapco bore drop bolt is too long for a razorback by about .125" on the barrel side and about the same shy on the valve side. The hammer will work but is a bit on the sloppy side, the power tube works just fine.

Trracer grip frames will fit on a Kingman Hammer (you'll have to use the thumb screws from the hammer, and add a few washers). Haven't tried the reverse yet, but when I get a minute I'll give it a shot. Valve bodies are different lengths, so not compatible. Pump arms will trade with out much work. I'll try the rest of the internals when I get a chance.
If anyone can do a quick comparison between hammer and phantom parts (namely hammers, valve cap, powertube, and valve body) I'd greatly appreciate it.

Trracer/maverick internals can exchange with old razorbacks, know for sure that later trracers have different valve retainer threading than standard nelson asa, there's 2 shapes of the nelson type valve, the original with a groove and thru-hole for screw and the later ones with the bottom hole having a shorter depth and requires long bodies, as oposed to nelspots' short body, CCI valve components can interchange with standard nelsons, up to a point, in which powertube lengths can vary, with the newer CCI tubes being much shorter than standard or razorbacks', I have found that lapco tubes fits on razorbacks and some trracers,
Also, there's the bore drop bolts vs breech drop bolts, most should interchange with some differences, sears also can vary with models, but in general, if they're nelson based, should be universla, but its not always the case. Im not sure of grip frames, I know phantom grip frames won't fit anything else to my knowledge, whereas razorbacks and trracers will work back n forth, not sure bout other models.
EDIT: B has a link in his sig I think, for nelson owners group where there's a whole smorgasbord of info

Hey AS - I asked a pretty similar question a while back: https://www.mcarterbrown.com/forums/p...son-pumps.html
Hope you might find something useful in there.
