Trade, need advice

I just cleaned and re programed a SR for a friend. He says he just want a cocker to have a backup and have that incredible cocker feel.. He is very jealous of my stock superstock, because, well it work flawlessly every times.

He wanna trade me his SR, which need probably a new reg against my 05 Superstock.... What do you think? should I do it? if yes, do you think i should for a little more money for the reg or the board compensate?

i shot that pretty thing and really liked the way it felt in my hand, the board and the fact its closed, no exposed parts that can break away...

what should i do?

Which ever marker you think feels better and you play with better. At the end of the day skill will outway markers and other equipment. I suggest which ever you like better. It's not like either are rare finds....so if you get the SR and end up hating it a used superstock is usually easy to find.
The SR does need to be serviced when it breaks (says wgp) so that would be the iffy issue with me. They have downsized so much it would be likely that they will disappear eventually. However, if you can service it yourself it is a newer, faster, halfblocked cocker.

But as said above....preference is key

I think they're probably worth about the same. Still, I wouldn't trade a known / good working gun that I like for an iffy one.... unless you like it more than your SS. If you're asking I assume you're hesistant meaning your gut is probably telling you not to.

The fact im hesitating and wondering if im doing it is because im always attached to my stuff.. I regret every car i sold, everything i had to let go and that little cocker is my first and only cocker, its only some emotional attachment and wondering if the guy will tread it right.. He better be, im his tech lol.. I think im going to trade him the SR.. its really neat in my hand and i love how it shoot. Trade it plus maybe 40 bucks for a reg or something like that, and wait 6 month, buy him out my SS after for half the price :P

A wise choice. You truly are a member of MCB. Can't decide? Try for both.
