Benchmark double slider

Anybody use one of maggots double finger slider frames as a single trigger frame instead of a double, they look kind of ugly like that but for what people want for frames it doesnt seem like a bad option

It can be done easily enough, you just put a single trigger shoe on instead of a double trigger shoe. They were made because people kept butchering single trigger frames by cutting the guard and adding double finger shoes. I agree, they're ugly, but they serve a purpose.

I ran a double slider on my trilogy for years, and really liked it. I found them to be somewhat uncomfortable as a single, since the space behind the trigger where you middle finger would sit is thicker. But it works.

Keep in mind though, Maggot's triggers are pre-98 spec, meaning they take different plates and won't have a rear slop screw. Pre-98 spec plates that aren't total garbage are getting hard to find, and without the rear slop screw it will have more vertical play.

There's a reason he's selling them for so cheap, is all I'm saying.

AKA still has trigger plates, but they're close to $40 last time I asked. Compared to 99spec plates at $5 on autocockerparts.com.

I bought one of Maggot's frames to use as a single trigger but found some of the issues as noted by Magmoormaster. Plus the trigger guard gets in the way of running a vertical bottle with a 13ci.

Yes, they have both styles actually.

If you want one, I have a Powerlyte version. And I'm including both single and double trigger shoes, so you could use it for exactly what youre talking about. I have the hinge counterpart on my 2k5 and I love the frame, its nice, and the grips are comfy.
