Hows the Resurrection?

Now that its been out for a while, how do people like the Empire Resurrection? Just curious on this here snowy day, and noticed the used prices are reasonable...

It's a great gun overall. Some of the O rings are hit and miss, and tend to dry out easily. This is especially true of the earlier guns. The cocking point with the stock hammer is wrong, and the gun cocks when the bolt hasn't cleared the breech, but inception designs offers a hammer that makes it an easy fix. The trigger definitely has a different feel than a regular cocker, but I like it after I got used to it.

If you buy one, I would get the ID hammer, and a good o ring kit, and call it a day.

I've owned mine a couple years now and the worst thing that happened was a bolt oring failed on field and but all I needed to do was go and put a new one on, well that and the macro always has a bit of a leak when first aired up, also barring a freak kit I've not changed any parts for non stock, its not even had a full strip down yet but bar that one incident its never skipped a beat.

Sounds like they work like a cocker should then which is good. I know I’m in the minority but I’ve always kind of preferred hinge triggers, I had a benchmark slider and found it a little too smooth. It’s good to hear you get used to this one and that it’s not like a regular slider, Makes me want to try it. Is it true that the trigger is actually harder to short stroke?

I would say yes, very difficult to short stroke. Trigger feels totally different from my benchmark. Much more snappy.

I've never shot a resurrection, but I've had an empire sniper for a few years. It gave me all sorts of problems. Low and inconsistent velocity. Poor pump stroke. A little elbow grease, new regulator, new springs and orings and now it's great. So for me, out of the box total ****. With some work I like it very much.

Plan on upgrading the Hammer to one that actually works well.

I don't know why but the one that comes stock in the Ressys and Snipers is not milled to cock the gun correctly...

Is that front bolt o-ring necessary, it seems pointless with the detent groove there?
I like the look of the forgrip-frame spacing, looks comfortable.
