Mini Autococker body

Can you run one without a volumizer?

Depends on how old it is, really, and what kind of operating pressure you're looking to achieve.

I've never liked minis, they are very tempermental. Was working on a client's mini cocker a while back, also had a mq2 valve but it would not Chrono past 260 basically because there was no volume of air in front of the valve.

If you want to run without volumizer I would expect to run higher pressure, stiffer main spring probably a softer valve spring and run a high flow valve. Then, just hope and pray

Yes, you can.

If you want to do it correctly, use PPS low turbulence high pressure valve with a 12g adapter in the vertical ASA.

For whatever reason I assume this is going to be a halfback mini pump.

I have CCM internals and thats about it. I dont' care about high pressure, lower pressure as we are forced to pay for all day air.

This has nothing to do with what we are talking about.

The reason you will probably have to run a higher operating pressure is simply to run enough air through your valve to fire the paintball at a decent velocity. Without the volumizer the only way to get enough air in front of the valve ready to fire is to have it there at a higher pressure.

I'm actually answering that guy Jordan. He was asking what pressure do i want to run at.

I know that the volumizer allows for a lower pressure operation.

I had a mini black magic that did NOT have a volly. I had zero issues achieving proper FPS, and efficiency. Stock springs, stock valve. No problems. 280 + - 3 all day. Sick gun, but was too cramped feeling for me.
