Autococker SR rebuild

Who would you recommend I send off this A/C SR to for a rebuild? Guessing the solenoid needs new gaskets, but I'd rather have someone else get it back up and running correctly than me trying multiple times and failing....

It has a E-blade frame on it instead of the weird shaped one from WGP.

Leaking in multiple places, hammer isn't moving, solenoid acts like it's not getting air or electrical response from the frame.

I bought this cheap from someone as a project, as it appeared to have been left outside at some point in it's lifespan.

I just want to make it run again and have another lightweight option to give my boys to play with when they're old enough.

I doubt the noid needs a gasket, they are pretty good usually but it does sound like you have multiple issues going on the most concerning being the lack of action out of your noid

Probably best to send it off if you are not comfortable working on it

You could send it to Tim Firpo of PaintballTek he's up near Sacramento. He's done rebuilds for me and does fine work. You can find him on FB or just google PaintballTek.

I have intimate knowledge of SRs thanks to my board project. The noid gaskets are hard to find. Could maybe ask DYE if they have any but all the online stores are out. The ram gaskets are worse yet, they exist solely in the original parts kits. Both are non moving though so they should be fine. I can dissassemble and clean it for you np or walk you through it via skype/fbm/gho.

I can also make eyes with the factory ir led and phototrans as well.

Based on your issue description Id guess you need a full tear down and board tune. Sear and noid pin could be rusty, spring tension too high or board dwell too low. Front noid can be disassembled and cleaned, inspect the spool and all orings, those can be bought Im sure though Ive never measured them to figure out what size.
