Awesome easy weeknight dinner

I had to share this.
The other day I mixed 1 pack of lipton onion soup mix and 1 pack of brown gravy mix together, added a little thyme, garlic powder and black pepper.
Placed a good sized chuck roast on heavy duty foil with the intention to make a packet.
I then used that mixture as a dry rub on the roast, put the entire amount all over it.
Then tightly wrapped everything, then added a second layer of foil.
Stuck it in the fridge overnight.

The next morning around 7 the foil wrapped roast went into our crock pot, on low.NO LIQUID added
At around 11 hours later the contents of foil pack was dumped into the crockpot, the roast shredded itself.

We put it on hawaian rolls with cheddar cheese, ,was kind of like a pot roast slider.
