That's good to hear, considering the Marq manual says that it is. The newer bolt system has some sort of snap-on bolt design.

yea, its a quick disconnect bolt. It looks and feels flimsy when you first take it off, but it actually works really well. Better than the old screw on bolt they had. That sucker would either strip or get stuck

Got the gun today. Here's what the internals look like. I believe that this is the new "supercharged" Marq engine?

Played a few games with this gun yesterday. It really is as efficient as they say, and I definitely liked the feel of the gun. It seemed to make a very distinct pinging sound, sort of like my old tippmann pro/carbine, but without the vibration and much quieter.

Some problems I had... the screw on the back that holds the entire "engine" in backed out after the first game. The engine started backing out and caused air to vent down the barrel. Back in the staging area, I took out the assembly to clean broken paint off the bolt, and when I re-installed everything, air was still leaking down the barrel like crazy.

Long story short, I learned it is very easy to damage the six #022 o-rings that are on the outside of the engine. I had to replace all of them and learn how to carefully insert the engine without shredding or damaging any of the external o-rings.

Another Marq owner let me borrow his pressure tester, and I learned that the LPR was set from the factory at something like 120psi (!!!). I adjusted the LPR down, and the pinging/vibration was significantly reduced.

The only things I think I want to change on this gun are the grips (which have sort of a rough, cheap feel to them) and maybe the trigger.

the s class trigger really livens on the gun.

I had terrible pinging on my GA tank, so I switched to a crossy 45/4500 and it stopped significantly

ga tanks with myth regs ping on almost any gun. Always hated myth regs, and will continue to do so untill it gets fixed

2nded on bob long s-class triggers, or critical triggers. Love me a saber design

on the engine screw, really gotta make sure that sucker is snugged down, or even try some blue loctite on there.

as far as grips go, that was a major sticking point for me on my victory. The only wraparound grips avalible are made by virtue. Just do a search for marq virtue grips

ordered my self a s-class trigger... I think the Closer stock trigger could grow on me, but both of my other electros have that saber-style (not sure what else to call it). If only I could convince deadlywind to make a fingerlock trigger for this gun...

Also, I ordered a 50-pack of 022 o-rings from oringsandmore, as I have a feeling I am going to be going through a lot of those.

as long as you depressurize the gun before you pull the drive train out, you should be fine
