or if you pre lube the valve body area of the gun, you should be able to avoid chewing up rings. I just lube the outer orings and rub some lube inside the body prior to reinserting the engine in my rapper and knock on wood, no issues yet. also S-class trigger on these guns are the shiznit.

I got the pressure tester and s-class trigger, which is awesome.

I also bought a 50-pack of 022 o-rings from oringsandmore.com, which I think should be a winning strategy.

I'm also going to try lube other than Dow 55, because according to Matt at BLAST, that's what was causing the o-rings to become swollen and rubery, and subsequently to shred on the body.

Yes, thats what the DOW 55 does. DO NOT USE ANY LUBE BUT DOW 55.
It's supposed to do that. You will need to replace those main o-rings or lube the body prior to installing them.
Using other lubes voids your warranty.
Read the manual.

Matt at BLAST said that one can get away with using DOW 33, but that the gun is designed with tolerances that require the tightest seal, which DOW 55 gives.

I got the gun working, I just plan on changing every 022 o-ring every time I tech the gun.

Btw, the gun came with no manual, and the online manual is for the marq 6. There are some differences between that gun and an s/c closer.

not really, apart from body milling. All the s/c engine does is replace materials inside the engine and redesigned it slightly, no change in how it needs to be maintained or taken apart

So now that these are supercharged, apart from the through-grip airlines and reg, whats the difference in this and a victory?

Well, the 4c eyes, the board (I think) and about $600.

Took the gun to the field today, and it shot perfectly. I really need to adjust the lpr and the trigger. The gun makes a tippmann like pinging sound, and the CPF setting on the board can make it a cheater-machinegun easily.

-the ease of disassembly. You can strip a vic apart with no tools. Compared to any previous marq series, this is huge. (if you havent taken apart a marq before, there is one small screw that holds the engine into the gun, and the TIIINY screws that hold the back cap onto the rammer housing. These can be lost so easily, and require a little more time to disassemble. With the vic, its pop the back cap, and unscrew the thing. The ease is comparable to that of a luxe)
-the vic come stock with the camdrive on/off (insane little on/off. Comparable in ease of use to a cp, just works differently)
-The board in the vic comes stock as a tadao ryujin board, which is extremely nice.
-the trigger is an updated roller bearing s-class. Having owned and shot many high end guns (sl8r-egoX, victory, luxe with vp that im currently shooting), the victory still has the nicest trigger, stock or otherwise of any high end gun. I could roll my vic faster on semi than any other gun Ive had
-The vic comes with 2c eyes stock, not 4c. Kinda irriating but meh.
-also comes stock with a pressure tester

honestly, is it worth the price? If you can afford yea. Yes, you could potentially get the same performance out of an older marq, but it takes the additional 600 in ups and tuning to get it there.

that pinging sound (assuming you dont have a myth regged tank) is the supercharged engine and bolt. The bolt is milled out of a different type of stainless steel, so it makes an interesting sound in the breach. Breaking in the spring on your poppit valve in the engine will also make the sound lessen over time

I popped a brand new SC in my closer, and it only makes a *thock* noise, pinging only occurs in my myth tank.

LPR = just under 90
HPR = just under 190

FPS: 290-296 with 691 stock barrel and paint ~683

using a Crossfire 45/4500 with the older reg

I also changed the ABS dwell 2 blips up
