Picked up a timmy.

I just picked this up pretty cheap, what now?

What model is this? I can't seem to find it for some reason. Anything I need to know about it? First time BL owner here, it'll probably get used for a couple of months, and flipped, but I would like to get everything I can out of her first, to give her a fair shot at becoming a permanent addition.

It is a Gen 4 timmy. so the generation before the vice/protege.

I am not sure about the exact model, I want to say it is an infamous.

I dont know a ton about them but I have heard good things about them. My recommendation would be pick up some dow 55 and triflow.

You are correct, it's an infamous Timmy. Dow 55 on all orings, and triflow on the bolt. Make sure to back the lpr all the way out, and reset the ram pressure based on your specific tank to get the best performance

No, thats the Empire 2 Intimidator. The Infamous Intimidator is also a Gen4 but has a different milling pattern.

I say shoot the thing then see if you need to do anything. You can down load the manual on Bob's website.

Set the regs per the manual and you should be all set.

Gen4's are a little finicky due to the poppit design.

Thanks I wasn't sure which manual I needed. I'll hit the gen 4 one and check it over. I'll try to get better pictures of the milling. Are there anysites online that show the different body styles for the gen 4s?

Check out intimidator Owners. There are links to a whole history on every milling pattern on all gen's.

As far as Gen4's there were three milling patterns. Yours which is the Empire 2, the Infamous, and the Ripper.

If you keep her lubed and tuned she will perform very well for you.

So what did you pay for it? What board does it have? If it has an LCD its going to be some Frenzy Variant (unles its an OLED board). I've had Frenzy boards and they aren't bad, I personally like the Tadao Infamous board the best.

I picked it up for 150 on Sunday from a college kid reffing at a field that was closing (Sunday was the last day open). He said it needed a little TLC. So far all it needed was a battery. Its an LED board of some sort, I haven't checked to see if its branded anything special.
