interesting thing happened i raised my dwell from 6ms to 16 and shut the eyes off and it shot prity well. but that leads me to believe it is my solenoid other thoughts?

You already tried a new battery right?

If you have a spare noid (any noid from any Bob Long Marq, Vice, Protege, G6R will work, they all use the same. Alias noids also work but you need to flip the middle section over) try that and see. Or tear your noid down (believe there is a guide on Intimidator Owner's Group with pics on how to do that, it's not hard as long as you are extremely careful not to lose the 2 tiny pins in the midde section) and see if there's an inordinate amount of gunk/grease in there.

Also make sure the 2 holes in your engine are facing downward and scrape the rear transfer slot (when you pull your engine out that is the slot you see near the back of the body) with an oring pick to see if any gunk got in there.

And get Dow 55.
