Thanks for all the help. I think I finally got it working.

- something was fishy with the LPR. Put the old valve core back in and it started shooting
- then it blew a seal in the ASA. Had to fix that...
- then the bolt started popping open. Stiffened the pin spring a bit, that seemed to cure that
- then it would shoot for a while and then not be able to open the valve. Changed the HPR core, good thing I had a spare

I still need to chrono it but looks like it's working now.

Sheesh, the board was just about the only part of this gun that didn't have problems.

Good to hear. That's what I usually assume with "project guns", they'll have broken components or need a complete rebuild or both. I'll only buy a project gun if it has a specific part that I really, really want and know it would be super hard to get otherwise.

Happened to me with the FEP quest (stripped feedneck threads, leaky bolt pin and bent LPR valve core) and 2k5 timmy I used to own (bought it for the WAS 2.8 board that was supposed to come inside it, found out I got scammed when it later arrived with a SOB and 6-40 threaded barbs on the ram sleeve; I did manage to get a non-membrane on/off switch plate for 2k5 frames out of it though).
