Feb 13th - IPG Maple Ridge - BC

"Friendly fire family day" Feb 13th @ 9am sharp!

I'm going to see if I can get a bunch of people out from work (many of which will be first timers). So I'm posting here to see if anyone's interested in joining? It should be a Province wide day off. It's a Monday.

Probably also a great chance to show off your marker collection!

I'm thinking of going to the International paintball games field in maple ridge since I've never been.

Details here:
14448 224 St, Maple Ridge, BC V4R 2P8, Canada
1-800-568-8909
Have to buy field paint there
Bring your own food/water, some small snacks available
Washrooms
HPA refills, no C02. 12grams allowed according to the call center

More details:
Paintball Vancouver Maple Ridge
Paintball in Canada Delta Force Paintball

I have 20-tickets to burn, so once I offer them to my co-workers, I will probably offer them up here to those interested. The tickets cover gear rental. Enhance is $15 (taxes in) and includes 100 paintballs.

Reply or PM if interested. I'm hoping this will be a warm up session to get this season going!

Let's do a lot of this

Fair point. 10 cents a ball ain't cheap. I remember paying that years ago for woodsball, but it sounds like that's changed?

I considered possibly hosting the event somewhere else, but I've been out if the game for a while and wanted to go with a safe bet this time for the new players and because of the vouchers I bought.

I'm definitely open to other field suggestions for future games! Where is good/cheap?

I hope to get out more often this year.

Looks like I've got ten people together from work so far. We need 20 to get them to open the field.

Despite expensive paint, it might be kinda fun to have a ~500 person field to ourselves, no?

Just putting it out there.

Have you asked them about their equipment owner policies? If so, please share.

Entrance is $15 (taxes in) and includes 100 paintballs.
HPA refills at the field included.
No CO2 refill on site.
12 grams allowed (according to the call center).
Umm. Toilets on site.
Snacks available otherwise it's bring your own food.

Does that answer your question?

I suppose "equipment owner restrictions" would be a better phrase.

Previously I had heard they wouldn't allow owners to use their own tanks..

Yeah, I just called the call centre. The nice lady said that nothing is strictly prohibited, they just have to do due diligence and check the gear works properly before they let anyone on the field.

Sorry I misunderstood your question before.

For all those people beating my door down on this one, it's on baby!

I have a group of 10. There is another group of 10. The road to the field is clear enough of snow to drive in a Honda civic down it.

Look out expensive paint, a snow covered field and questionable ownership company, here we come!
