Probably the 401, it looks like the fastest way.

I'm in. What time? Let's have a poll! Why don't we do it for noon?

As far as the Via rail stations go, you've only got Oakville and Brampton before Union in Toronto. Honestly, you'd be better off driving and then crashing somewhere later on. Probably faster too.

I kind of want to go/want to play pump... but I think Jan 11 is the second event in NWTS and I'm 99% sure I'm playing in it.
You can also take a GO bus to Yorkdale Mall and then take the Dufferin bus down.

So, coincidentally, the Canadian group over on Underground Mod Shop was ALSO planning a GTA-area January meetup. And, for those who don't hang around UMS, they're the same kinda crowd as here, so I told them about this and encouraged them to come as well. It looks like at least a few of them plan to, which means we can probably get at least 10 guys out. If we do, do you think we should get a private booking? I've never played at Splatters, so I don't know how cramped the field might be with the 10+ of us plus the usual Saturday crowd, but I'd kinda like it if we could be as 'elitist' as everybody calls us() and get a pump/pistol/mech only game going.

Now, granted, that deprives me the chance to make some renter pinch a loaf when I open up with my loudened AT-10, but, hey, sacrifices must be made.

My only concern is that there's several groups that are playing at the time and we end up waiting 30-40 mins for our turn to play for 10, y'know? Especially when some might be coming from a fair distance. Food for thought.

That, too. If we book the field, we get all the playtime we can handle, we don't have to wait for the other groups.

SGT. Splatters has only one (big) field. If there's an open group and a private group then they alternate who gets to play (play one sit one..)
I would suggest that you guys make a booking to make it a private group if you wish to play only with each other, or just go with the open group (Splatters doesn't care if the owners mix with the renters).
Since this is a winter Saturday, it's probably going to be fairly crazy busy. Calling ahead to see if they have anyone booked already wouldn't be a bad idea.

heh, reminds me of a time a good few years ago when I chased down and out a group of renters with my TS1 on full auto with no paintballs.

Alright, does anybody want to see if we can book a session? It looks like we have at least 15 people.
