Where to find Shemagh`s in BC..

Other than Instock PB store and PB Gear store, where can I find some shemagh`s. I really want a bunch of different colors and patterns.

Someone wanna point me in the right direction.

Well, they're kind of a trendy thing with kids now so you can probably walk into quite a few clothing stores downtown and find them.

tact ones come in o.d and tan. You might get lucky and find some in the arab community in vancouver for the brighter colors.

Be cheaper up here. Custom charges, gst, pst would be killer. Then again if he's willing to spend the cash. Not a bad buy.

Just make sure if you wear them around, you know what you're saying to those around you. In certain circles, different colors such as red and black can mean different things. I have several friends from the area of Gaza that identify strongly with the red color for example. So be careful with wearing shemaghs in neighborhoods with a consistency from some areas of the middle east just as you would with wearing bandanas around gang neighborhoods.

I didn't know that the colors meant anything. I have a red one a friend brought back and a black one I bought on the street

IT really depends on where you are. If an organization in a region uses a color it may have meaning, but anyplace else it might be completely meaningless. That's why I compared it to gang colors. It's probably a pretty slim chance that you'll offend anybody, but if you live in a place with a lot of political rallies or deep rooted ethnic neghborhoods from certain regions it's the only place it would matter.
