Why the threading on stock class feed tubes?

Got a question. Why are the stock class feed tubes threaded?

In order to work on the stock class delrin (or acrylic) feedblocks, they are threaded into place by really small threads, but there is alot of them

On the phantom, it shouldn't show any threads, but i believe you could get away with it

One more thing. If you are running the clear feedblock, be careful not to overtighten the feedtube or you may crack the feedblock, snug is all you really need.
