Another question is i have a blue power piston and am wondering how many orings are supposed to be on slimmer part not the sealing exterior rings. previous owner said he could never get it to work with Hpa and it has 4 orings but when i looked at Mikes site the picture shows 5.... mines blue.
I bought mine used. My marker was tuned for HPA, and it has the blue power piston with (3) o-rings. I tried installing the other (2) o-rings and the FPS decreased. Chrono your marker. If you are within your desired FPS, leave those o-rings as is. If you are having trouble getting to your desired FPS, you may have to remove or add o-rings. Refer to the manuals for more details.

When I had a leak coming from inside of the barrel, it was the outer o-rings on the power piston (part #1035).

I have talked to a few players with issues using the a/c breech while I'm not a fan of it I do know that taking rings off should get your velocity up to 280. I know we all push mike for A/C breeches but the phantom breech is just fine. I have to have a pump handle so my deadly wind(phantom) and stock barrel work fine. I prefer to run hpa at 450 psi and 12 grams I up the reg to 850. I have found that 12 grams at 450 psi I was getting a few hot shots initially on the fresh 12 gram. Having put several cases through it I'm very happy . Mike is awesome I email him regularly with question and comments. Get a ccm 86 frame for just adds to the awesomeness !

So guys, is it worth it? What are your major complaints? I'm looking to sell my Phantom and a T2 to fund one of these.

I kinda stumbled onto mine I am very happy,If your good on phantom barrels don't spring on an AC breech. Shot another 1/2 case through it at a scenario this weekend with a 45/45 I got a crazy amount of shoots.

Use a cp tank extender. Screw it in and enjoy. I run mine with a 13 cuin tank with a plastic butt for 9 oz co2 tanks and love it.

Basically they don't offer enough of a difference in feeling of play or other benefits to offset the cost compared to a standard phantom. Awesome gun, it's the price that kills them. The other part that possibly hurts them is lack of autotrigger.

Only reasons I never bought one. Would like one but not the highest thing on my list.
