Another LAPCO Internals Question

So I've got this project Phantom that I've been working on, and just replace the internals with Lapco Ghost bolt & hammer. As per the link on the Air Soldier site, I modded them by drilling out the tapped hole for a good fit with the pump arm, and swapped the Lapco sear for the stock CCI sear.

Having the issue now where the sear doesn't catch, and it simply fires when pumped strongly enough, I'm fairly noob to Phantoms and could use some advice!

I had a bit of the same problem with my stock phantom internals after having monkeyed around with the sear a bit.

Luckiliy, its a relatively simple fix: take some 400 grit sand paper/ dremel to the bottom part of the sear (where the trigger assembly makes contact with it) and sand it down a little.

Then reassemble and see if the issues persists, rince, repeat and once the accidental sear-tripping problem stops, polish up the sanded-dremeled area so its nice and smooth.

That should fix your problem, and leave you with a nice snappy trigger pull, thats how it worked out for me (y)

what you should have done was to mod the Lapco sear to size.

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...
tlane77 He's got a woody for your woods.
