First Phantom

Purchased my first phantom Monday. Super excited, just waiting for its arrival in the mail. I have been playing since my freshman year 16 years ago, but only in the past year have I gotten big into pump play. I've wanted to play SC ever since just couldn't afford a phantom. Well I found a six month old one and had the extra cash, now she's mine! Just wanting to hear other phantom owners opinions and experiences. I already know i'm going to thoroughly enjoy SC once I get the hang of it...especially because everyone else at my field plays semi and thinks i'm an idiot for going SC.

Thanks,
C.J.

You will convert them if you stick with it. That you must.

Welcome aboard!

It's a learning curve for sure, but your advantages will be low profile (no hopper) and light weight (speed). It's crazy how much quicker you can move, and aim. You can't shoot ropes, but you can put one ball on target quicker than anyone. Play to your strengths, have fun, and welcome to the brotherhood.

Oh, and hide your wallet

I've always been a pretty conservative shooter. I like to place my shots appropriately and not just spray and pray, but yeah, it's going to take some getting used to. I'm perfectly fine with that though,

Before you take it out to the field practice in your backyard. It takes some getting used to but like others have said once you get used to it you will be hooked.

I will have 2 weeks to practice with it so I'll probably be out in the yard every afternoon.

I personally found my Phantom to work best for my play style when I put a T-stock on it.
