Air through modification service?

The grip-through airline mod: I am wondering who has here the knowledge to do this modification, and what the cost for labor would be. I will supply the hose and necessary fittings/plugs.

Apoc's Legend Phantom is still, to my knowledge, running around here. Someone might be able to show you the workings of it. I seem to recall the extreme angles meant the microline leaked on occasion.

Hmm... Mine never had any issue leaking, had issues blowing the microline occasionally if using 12 grams, but I stuck to modified stock class most of the time so it wasn't an issue. Unfortunately I don't have access to tools like I used to when I first built this.

I thought I had more pics than this though

Would possibly be easier to do now if you used mini/axe parts like the asa and air transfer tubes

I have considered trying this. Is a drill press enough or did you have to use a mill?

Seems like it would make disassembly a lot more difficult.

I agree, I don't think it would make anything better on the Phantom. It's just one of those things that would be fun to do for no other reason then I could.
