I contacted Robert on FB asking if it was possibly to switch back and forth from fsr to reg paint using the FSR body.

And he confirmed what i was thinking

1) Switch the barrel
2) Remove small set screw on body and attach stock class feed i tried the open class adapter but too much has been cut away on the body for that to work well.
3) Remove cocking bolt and insert nylon screw ill skip this by having a spare bolt already adjusted to regular paint.

and that's it 3 easy steps and you have converted for a day of regular paint shooting.

i added one more question in regards to ASP Detent mod

1) you can add it for reg Paint ONLY remove the orings when using FSR
2) the holes may have a slight effect on efficiency but shouldn't be enough to make a difference

So there you go for the simple paintballer all you need is one body to use for all your paintball needs.

Note: the opening on the fsr phantom is larger and leaves more exposure to the elements which shouldn't be an issue unless your rolling around in the mud.

I want one! Unfortunately, almost none of the numerous fields within driving distance allow FSR. Still, it's a beautiful piece of machining. And, of course, it's a rare Phantom. *sigh of greatest longing*

Do any of you know if the Barrel tip on these kits is threaded or permanently fixed?

Anything can be threaded if you want it to be ?Alot of us believe tips cause tubulance to the rnd as it exits the barrel due to the weight and velocity of the rnd . Now carmatech has a new barrel out that has a desighned tip that encouages spin

[QUOTE=TCPaintball;3435340]Iím Curious if I had another bolt set up for reg paint couldnít I just switch them out and swap the barrel and use the body as a SC center feed?

Yes you could use any cci breech Right, Left or Center feed SC w/ feed tube. I have done all of them but left. The one in the pic that began the thread was mine. I sold the breech & barrel & cocking rod ( it will thread into any cci bolt) and the Picatinny style rail all to Andrew a year ago +/-

Just realizing I never posted pics here. Sorry about that.

lefty, gas-thru FSR Phantom stamped as #5

Here was her original form:

Here's the new setup with a new barrel attachment.

Lansing Industries was willing to cut the original barrel down a bit and thread it to use hammerhead tips.
I'm super pleased with the work, price, and turn-around time!

I have FSR2. I'll have to get a better picture and I'm still messing with the setup.Name: 20180713_113801.jpeg
