Non-invasive anti-doubling Revolution solution(now with field testing!)

I played with my new Revolution for the first time on the twelfth. Like others have said before, when loading on the run, I had frequent partial and full double feeds which resulted in the dreaded barrel/breech blender and trips to the dead-zone. Today I played around with multiple tape solutions, all of which failed to solve the issue.

Then I discovered the simplest solution appears to be the most effective. By swapping the feed to reverse(Sheridan style) I didnít have a single double feed. I could even hold the bolt in the open position without issue. Gravity rolls the fed ball against the bolt instead of into the stepped portion of the sizer, preventing the primary cause of double feeds with the Revolution. Iíll report back with more results after field testing.

The one piece looks on your revolution looks real slick in that configuration, I wish the one piece could fit a standard phantom like that. I too am a fan of the rock back.

I like it, the marker and the solution. I've never seen the stockclass feed run backwards, but I like the look and it makes sense how it would stop doible-feed.

Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best solutions.

Nice looking marker. I find a certain elegance in simplicity.

Thanks fellas. I had never seen a reversed one piece feed either. And man, does it look cool. But it’s definitely gonna take a bit of time to train the brain to rock up instead of down.

I ran my revolution like this for a bit at a big game. Between catching a lot of splatter down the tube, and then taking a shot right down the feed gate and making a huge mess, I opted to have dual detents installed instead

Pfft, party pooper.

To be fair, a shot straight down the feed gate is both sucky and impressive. It's all your fault, BigT!

I have to admit, the reverse feed concept is growing on me.

When your marker looks this good, you should be able to get away with anything. Hawt!

There’s always an exception! A shot down the feed tube definitely sucks! But I figure it’s less likely to happen than the inevitable double feed blender
