Unknown pump kit, installation issues.

Hello.

I acquired a pump kit from another gentleman that is supposed to fit a Phantom, only it doesn't fit mine. I don't know the make/model of the pump kit, but it fits properly on his Phantom and not mine. I'm pretty sure I'm not installing it incorrectly, but no matter how I try to wiggle things I can't get anything to line up. I am very confused on this... I have pics.

These are from him showing the kit and it installed on his marker.

OK, now for my pics. When mounted to the frame, the pump rod doesn't go high enough to fit into the trig frame. I can force it in, but it binds up the whole operation.

Coming together... At this point I have the barrel on, pump rod connected, and everything else is lined up.

And things don't line up. Again, the barrel is on, pump rod is connected, and everything else is lined up. No matter how much I twist/tweak the rotation of the pump handle I cannot get things to line up.

What pump kit is this? I'll try to install it again on my next day off, but I'm not sure what I could be doing wrong in the first place. any help would be appreciated.

It's a Punisher's Customs Streamliner UC kit. There might be a difference VSC hole locations from his era phantom to yours. If you ever want to sell it I'll be glad to take it off your hands.

It looks like it is mounted higher on the other grip frame. The bottom of the pump bracket looks slightly higher than the bottom of the trigger guard while yours is sitting slightly lower than the bottom of the trigger guard.

Hmm... Is there a serial number range that this would fit?

I'll see if my Google-fu is any good later on today.

My phantom with this UC kit is 27336. But it could be the taps for the screws were mis milled? I honestly doubt mike has changed the VSC hole placement actually.

You may not need to go as far as redrilling. The holes look so close in the last pick that you might be able to just get in there with a round file and make the holes a touch taller

It is definitely a Punisher Custom's Pump "kit" I bought 2 from Punisher in the past one just like yours and one with a more square pump. I had the same issue with one of mine the difference between my two was the mounting holes to the trigger guard were in different position so that one the pump guide was mounted lower giving me the same situation you have. I saw 3 possible solutions - 1) Plug and Re-drill/tap pump guide block, 2) plug and re-drill the frame or 3) Bend a kink in the pump arm. I did number 3 I bent a small kink in the pump arm to compensate for the guide being slightly lower. This worked quite well, there is plenty of length in the pump arm that bending the kink which shortens the arm did not effect functionality.

I could have tried to get Punisher (Kennie?) to fix it but he was already having issues at that point and I was happy I had actually got something for the money I paid him. There is a thread somewhere here where I posted the problem and the fix but I can not seem to find it yet. If I find it I'll link it.
