When I fire my T2 the bolt "kicks" back. Almost to the point is almost cocks itself again. If I have a firm hand on pump its no problem but otherwise it somestimes loads another paintball. I swapped the stock reg for a cp reg with gauge. I adjusted reg from 250psi - 350 psi and adjusted the rear bolt over and over again with no prevail. I shot a team mates this past weekend and he has no such problem. Any Ideas?

Never trust those small gauges that you can mount on a reg or marker... plug the hole and build yourself a reg tester found here : https://www.mcarterbrown.com/forums/c...eg-tester.html or here https://www.mcarterbrown.com/forums/c...one-other.html ... What was wrong with the factory reg ??? WK2

You never mentioned if your teammate has a return spring installed on his gun. Also, the more you under bore the more blowback you will have. I would install a return spring if your marker doesn't have one and keep your hand on your pump arm. But then again I'm just "OLD" school.

I have a return spring. I will try the Stock Reg. again. I do under bore with a Deadly Wind - Freak Combo @ .679. When it dry fires there is no blow back. Thanks for all your help in such a short time. Will let you all know.

snipers and cockers are like that. the pressure of the paintball in the breach when you don't hold the pump will cause the air to force backwards and push the bolt back, especially if you are using really tight paint for the barrel. i dont know how people play very fast with a pump when they shoot without their hand on the pump handle. you can see it at the chrono. hold the pump handle forward and shoot one it will be at a higher velocity because the only way the air can go is down the barrel. now shoot one without holding the pump handle and the velocity will be lower, this is because some of the force of air was pushed back by the loose bolt. your buddies might not do it because he is using a different or larger bore barrel.
